About The Event

📣 Do you want to build your confidence and learn the things you don't know?

PRE-REQUISITE: You have attended our Excel for Absolute Beginners or you use Excel regularly already

Our 5.5-hour workshop has been designed for existing, basic, users of Excel that want to learn the beginner+ to intermediate functions of Excel.  You will learn everyday Excel formulas, including entering and formatting data, setting up Excel workbooks, creating and formatting charts etc.   We will give you the confidence to quickly create spreadsheets you will require in business.

Our workshop is delivered in Office 2016 - compatible with Office 2010 upwards (please note that there may be minor differences).  Please note that Mac is not compatible.

As this a hands-on workshop, you will need to bring your own device (with Office 2010 upwards).  If you are unable to bring your own device, please let us know prior to the workshop and we will arrange one for you.

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • An overview of Excel
  • How to customise Excel for you
  • Entering and formatting data
  • Setting up and formatting spreadsheets
  • Setting up and managing worksheets and workbooks
  • Introduction to creating formulas
  • Everyday Excel formulas that you must know
  • Creating and formatting charts
  • Keyboard shortcuts to speed up your spread-sheeting

DURATION: 5.5hrs - includes lunch, refreshments, a PDF training book and shortcuts (please note: we do not cater to specific dietary requirements, therefore, if you have a dietary requirement you will need to arrange your own lunch).

A minimum of two people and a maximum of five

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

(a) Cancellations 10 days or more prior to the Workshop will attract a 5% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 10 days prior to the Workshop will attract a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 2 days prior to the Workshop are non-refundable.

(b) We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a Workshop (e.g. due to insufficient registrations) in which case we will offer you an alternative workshop date or a full refund of all registration fees.
